"Get up Dawn or you're going to be late!!!"
Dawn felt the sun blare against her face as she heard her mother move about her room, opening all the windows that she could get her hands on. She refused to get out of bed, her pillow felt too comfortable to relieve her head from it. Her mother though roughly pulled the blankets away and her pillow. She felt her eyes glare at her and very reluctantly she sighed and stretched her muscles to get the blood pumping throughout her body.

The wind continually to blow hot unbearable air around the desert. No clouds covered the area from the suns rays that beat down upon the land. Wind kicked up the dirt creating small dirt devils and blowing tumbleweeds into the distance. One of the small tumbleweed had dicided to out distance the other by crossing the destert on its own, but during its journey it crossed path with a young youth that layed next to a dying silver dragon. His skin was tan from the sun's heat, while his over grown baggy brown shirt and pants covered the rest of his skin from feeling the sun. Next to the boy was a large silver dragon with massive wings. Darkness and light is what is within every living creature. The sky themselves reflected the symbols of these two. The stars standing for the light, while the sky's black vale representing the darkness. Only one creature was able to see both of these continuously. Floating in the dark was a sphere of green and blue. Life burst throughout the surface and the water, giving more colors to the land and giving light to the darkness. Only one being protected the light within the darkness. A massive green dragon glided between the layers of the darkness and light.
His gold eyes watched the round world glisten and glow with its beauty. He felt proud about his responsibility to protect the world from things that wish to harm it. The gentle wind blew across the calm dark forest as the moon slowly rose to it perch in the sky. Trees sway to and fro in a soft beat that can put a crying babe into a soundless slumber. Day creacher's quickly ran into their homes, deep under the ground, to avoid any night animals that wish to feast on their flesh. Alas, one brave mouse crept from it's warm and cozy home to search for a night snack. As it scurried across the grass that barely covered the floor, a horned owl was perched in a tree, ever so watchful and noticed the mouse quick movement. Leaping from its branch, it flew gently down to the mouse and as it was about to snatch it, a sudden flash appeared from before it, scaring the mouse away. Fustrated the owl flew towards its intruder to utter an irritated hoot, when it saw more of the flashing lights. Frighten, the owl screech and disappeared into the dark forest.
